Caldwell Friends Church
Caldwell Friends Church was established in 1944 and met together in people’s homes until they acquired property at their current location in 1948. A modest one room church was dedicated in 1949. With growing attendance and a need for more space, construction began on a new church building in 1957 and the current church building was completed and dedicated for service in 1961. The church has encountered many ups and downs over the years but has never lost sight of the mission to be faithful followers of Christ.
We are a part of wider body of Friends (Quakers) in Oregon, Idaho and Washington that collectively are called the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends. For more information on our history, beliefs, and values, please check out the website: http://nwfriends.org/.
We are a Bible-based, Christ centered church that believes that the Holy Spirit empowers and equips all people to minister and serve. It is our mission to bring the love of Christ to those in the church, across the street and around the world and to help those in the family of God to grow and mature and use their spiritual gifts in ministry.
